Snippets are saved in disks and organized into collections and groups.
Any file directory can be nominated as a collection. Within each collection, all immediate file subdirectory are automatically considered as groups. Only snippets found in groups may be recognized. Note that snippets found in subdirectories of groups, are not recognized until the group itself has been declared a collection.
Therefore a snippet is recognized only if there exist a collection-group-snippet relationship.
While groups may be declared as collections, or collections may be found within groups, these are not advisable. When groups are deleted, all the contents of the directory are deleted. If there is no intention to delete collections found within, the problem will arise as the deletion operation is not and cannot be qualified to exclude others found within.
